Charter Hall Could See Performance Fees Return in FY 2027 -- Market Talk

0101 GMT - FY 2027 could see the return of performance fees to property manager Charter Hall, says Morgan Stanley. Still, they are likely to be small. "Wider cap rates since 2022 have led to soft performance, so big fees could be years away," analyst Simon Chan says. Funds making up some A$19 billion of Charter Hall's assets under management are scheduled for fee testing in FY 2027. MS estimates that a reinstatement of fees could amount to between A$6 million and A$14 million. It retains an overweight call on Charter Hall and A$26.89/share price target. Charter Hall is down 1.5% at A$19.47. (david.winning@wsj.com; @dwinningWSJ)
