据伦敦证券交易所集团（LSEG）监测数据显示，俄罗斯近期纳入其能源运输编队的液化天然气（LNG）运输船“默库里”号（Merkuriy）已完成货物装载。该船货物提自受美方制裁的“北极LNG 2”项目（Arctic LNG 2），目前正由俄北极港口摩尔曼斯克附近海域向西航行。
监测信息显示，“默库里”号于5月9日在摩尔曼斯克附近的“萨姆”（Saam）浮式仓储装置完成装载，该装置主要用于“北极LNG 2”项目的液化天然气转运作业。
为应对外部制裁压力、保障能源出口安全，俄罗斯近几个月内已先后将“奥赖恩”号（Orion）、“鲁奇”号（Luch）、“默库里”号及“科斯莫斯”号（Kosmos）四艘LNG运输船纳入其运输船队。上述船只均建造于2005年至2006年间，近期通过变更所有权及重新注册等方式，全部转入俄罗斯旗帜下运行。
目前，“默库里”号的最终航行目的地尚未公开。有消息人士指出，尽管中东局势动荡导致全球能源供应趋紧，但由于担忧美方制裁影响，印度方面已拒绝了俄方关于购买“北极LNG 2”项目产品的提议。
莫斯科方面正加速推动液化天然气供应的多元化布局，以应对欧洲市场的政策转向。根据欧盟相关规定，针对俄罗斯液化天然气短期合同的进口禁令已于今年4月25日正式生效，长期合同禁令则计划于2027年1月1日起全面实施。
