True North Copper (ASX:TNC) completed 3,500 meters of reverse circulation drilling and 2,300 meters of diamond drilling at the Cloncurry copper project in Queensland, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

Follow-up drilling at Wallace North tested recently defined high-priority electromagnetic and induced polarization survey targets with potential to extend mineralization beyond the current resource and increase mine life.

It plans to complete the metallurgical and geotechnical test work programs through to September to support future mine planning, reserve conversion, and development studies.

Shares rose 4% in recent trading on Tuesday.
