IT之家 5 月 12 日消息，来自中国台湾半导体行业的微博博主 @手机芯片达人 透露，特斯拉正面临来自特朗普政府的施压，要求将其下一代 AI6.5 芯片的代工订单从台积电转移至英特尔。
今年 4 月，特斯拉 CEO 埃隆 · 马斯克在讨论 AI5 芯片流片时曾透露，旗下 AI6 芯片将交由三星位于得克萨斯州的 2nm 工厂生产，而规格更高的 AI6.5 芯片原本计划由台积电亚利桑那州工厂负责。据此前规划，AI6 芯片预计于 2026 年 12 月流片，AI6.5 芯片则晚数月跟进。
马斯克上个月曾表示，两款 AI 芯片都将大量采用 SRAM（静态随机存取存储器）。“它们均有约一半的 TRIP AI 计算加速器专用于 SRAM，因此对于 SRAM 缓存内的任何计算，有效内存带宽均比 DRAM 带宽高出一个数量级”。
此外，AI6 和 AI6.5 芯片还将搭载最新的 LPDDR6 内存。得益于这些创新，两款芯片在保持相同光罩尺寸的情况下，性能有望比 AI5 芯片实现翻番。
