0058 GMT - WEB Travel's guidance update on Feb. 9 should limit the scope for any major surprises at its upcoming FY 2026 result, Morgan Stanley says. So, the focus will be on the outlook, especially the impact of the Middle East conflict. Analyst James Bales is concerned that the FY 2027 industry outlook has changed since February, but consensus forecasts haven't. MS points out that several travel agents and hotel chains have called out low single digit impacts to bookings from the Middle East conflict. "We are equal-weight given improved visibility on the 2H take rate and the recent material de-rating," MS says. "We expect the outlook to represent the most challenging element of the result." WEB Travel is down 3.6% at A$2.65. (david.winning@wsj.com; @dwinningWSJ)
