Shares of Globus Medical fell after the musculoskeletal medical device company reaffirmed its guidance for full-year revenue.

The stock declined 8.3%, to $78.03, Friday afternoon and is down 11% year to date.

The company on Thursday backed its full-year guidance for revenue, projecting $3.18 billion to $3.22 billion. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $3.2 billion.

The company didn't raise the full-year guidance for revenue in part because of strategy changes at its Enabling Technology division and continuing revenue challenges with its Nevro business, Chief Executive Keith Pfeil said.

Revenue contribution from the company's Nevro business declined 17% from the fourth quarter of 2025, due to structural changes made in sales and marketing, Chief Financial Officer Kyle Kline said.

The company posted a first-quarter profit of $124.3 million, or 90 cents a share, compared with $75.5 million, or 54 cents a share, a year earlier.

Adjusted earnings came in at $1.12 a share. Analysts polled by FactSet expected 92 cents a share.

Revenue rose to $759.9 million from $598.1 million. Analysts expected $740.3 million.

The company raised its full-year guidance for adjusted earnings per share to $4.70 to $4.80, up from previous guidance of $4.40 to $4.50. Analysts expect $4.67 a share.
