周四公布的经济数据显示，美国4月零售销售如期增长，而首次申请失业救济人数则略高于预期。

　　美国商务部报告称，经季节性调整但未剔除通胀因素后，4月零售销售额环比增长0.5%，与道琼斯预期相符。剔除汽车后，零售销售增长0.7%，较预期低0.1个百分点。

　　尽管零售销售大体符合预期，但整体数据受到了能源价格飙升的显著提振——加油站销售额增长了2.8%，成为所有类别中涨幅最大的板块。

　　在失业救济金申领方面，美国劳工部报告称，截至5月9日当周，首次申领失业救济人数为21.1万人，较前值增加1.2万人，高于20.5万人的预期。持续申领人数（滞后一周）增加2.4万人，达到178万人。
