Ceigall India Secures INR1.25 Billion Battery Storage Project in Punjab, India

Ceigall India (NSE:CEIGALL, BOM:544223) has secured an order worth 1.25 billion Indian rupees from Punjab State Power Corporation, according to a filing to the Indian stock exchanges.
The contract entails setting up a 50 MW standalone battery energy storage system (BESS) in Punjab, India. The company will also operate, maintain, and supply power for 12 years.
The project will be executed in 18 months.
The company's shares were up nearly 1% in recent trade.
