5月16日，CNBC财经名嘴Jim Cramer对近期IPO市场出现的投机热潮发出警讯。他表示，市场正浮现过热迹象，而若SpaceX正式上市，可能进一步引爆新一轮资金狂热，甚至对整体股市带来破坏性影响。
Cramer称理解投资人为何愿意追捧SpaceX与马斯克旗下事业版图，但他担心股价可能很快脱离基本面。他指出，若承销商仅释出少量流通股，供不应求将推动价格出现失控式上涨。他表示：“SpaceX的市值可能冲上5万亿美元，这家公司可能创造属于自己的泡沫。”
他还指出，SpaceX若成功创下超大型IPO模式，可能成为其他AI公司上市的示范案例，包括正考虑公开上市的OpenAI与Anthropic，都可能加速进入资本市场。他警告，一旦大型科技IPO密集出现，可能对整体股市产生资金排挤效应。投资人为了参与新股认购，可能出售现有持股筹措资金，进而对市场流动性带来压力。
