当地时间5月15日，阿布扎比主权财富基金旗下的穆巴达拉能源（Mubadala Energy）宣布，美国能源商Caturus已完成97.5亿美元的融资，正式启动位于路易斯安那州卡梅伦县的大型液化天然气（LNG）出口终端建设。此次融资规模达97.5亿美元，主要用于“联邦LNG”（Commonwealth LNG）项目的工程建设。 穆巴达拉能源作为项目参与方，目前持有Caturus公司24.1%的股份。 此外，加拿大养老基金投资公司（CPP Investments）出资12亿美元，将其持股比例提升至31%。 能源投资机构Kimmeridge亦参与了本轮股权融资。该出口终端规划年产能为950万吨。 穆巴达拉能源在声明中指出，Caturus公司已与多家国际能源巨头达成长期供应协议，包括马来西亚国家石油公司（Petronas）、沙特阿美贸易公司、嘉能可（Glencore）、维多（Mercuria）及EQT公司。项目预计将于2030年正式投入运营。 市场预测，该设施全面投产后，每年可为美国创造约30亿美元的出口收入。
