Civmec Posts Higher Revenue, EBITDA in March Quarter; Shares Up 6%

Civmec (ASX:CVL) posted revenue of A$244.2 million and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) of AU$27.8 million during the quarter ended March 31, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company reported revenue of AU$158.5 million and EBITDA of AU$19.2 million in the same time last year, an earlier filing showed.
Net profit for the quarter was AU$13.5 million, the filing said.
Net profit during the previous corresponding period was AU$8 million.
Civmec shares rose 6% in morning trade on Friday.
