IT之家 5 月 16 日消息，科技媒体 Android Authority 今天（5 月 16 日）发布博文，报道称索尼回应 Xperia 1 VIII 手机的“AI 相机助手”（AI Camera Assistant）宣传图争议，指出该功能并非拍后修图，而是根据场景与主体提供 4 种创作方向的拍摄设置建议，用户可自行选择。
IT之家昨日报道，索尼 Xperia 1 VIII 手机的“AI 相机助手”功能最近引发争议，大量用户批评其宣传样张效果“翻车”，甚至 Nothing 创始人裴宇都质疑索尼是不是在故意制造争议引流。
对此索尼表示“AI 相机助手”并不会在拍摄完成后直接编辑照片，而是基于场景和拍摄主体，给出 4 种不同创作方向的设置建议。用户既可以从中任选其一，也可以完全使用自己的设置。
索尼还同步放出一批新的示例图。与第一轮样张相比，新案例的观感确有改善，至少没有继续出现明显泛白和过曝的问题。
不过该媒体指出这次回应并未完全平息疑问，索尼现有的解释更倾向于“功能原理是什么”，但对于消费者而言，官方宣传样张通常代表产品最佳表现，现有的回应并未解释“为何会拿那样的样张做营销”。
