英国石油周三宣布，已收购乌兹别克斯坦乌斯秋尔特地区六块油气勘探区块产量分成协议40%的参与权益，此举标志着公司重新聚焦传统能源业务。

　　2021年，在时任首席执行官伯纳德・卢尼推动绿色转型战略期间，英国石油退出了该区域的勘探业务。彼时卢尼曾承诺，到2030年将油气产量削减40%。但如今，公司正重新回归化石能源业务。

　　英国石油阿塞拜疆、格鲁吉亚及土耳其区域总裁乔・克里斯托福利周三表示：“我们认为乌兹别克斯坦具备巨大的资源潜力，并将此次合作视为助力该国油气资源勘探与开发的契机。”

　　英国石油从现有合作伙伴阿塞拜疆国家石油公司与乌兹别克国家石油天然气公司手中合计收购40%权益；交易完成后，后两者各持有30%股份。阿塞拜疆国家石油公司仍担任这六大区块的作业方，涵盖博伊泰拉克制、捷连库杜克、比尔库里、哈罗伊、卡拉卡尔帕克、库尔博伊区块。

　　英国石油早在2018年就已与阿塞拜疆国家石油公司、乌兹别克国家石油天然气公司签署过勘探合作协议。
