Fomento Economico Mexicano's (FMX) NetPay unit is rolling out a digital payments system for gas stations across Mexico, Reuters reported Thursday, citing the company.
The system supports gas stations accepting card, QR-code, and CoDi payments and integrating those transactions to station control and operating systems, the news agency reported.
The system could be launched for other sectors as well, including restaurants and retail, Reuters reported.
The company didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
