消息面上，中泰国际近期指研报出，公司多项正面因素正在显效。26Q1权益煤炭销量同比仅下跌2.4%至8.2百万吨，其中动力煤销量更持平；近期煤炭售价同比降幅温和。此外，煤炭市场价格环比上涨，部分可归因于美以伊战争影响，预期公司26Q2煤炭平均售价将较明显反映相关情况；此外，今年夏季高温发生概率较高，有利煤价上升。
今年4月，兖煤澳大利亚曾宣布，拟收购红隼集团100%权益，间接取得红隼煤矿80%权益，交易对价上限为24亿美元，包括18.5亿美元首付现金对价及最高不超过5.5亿美元的或有现金对价。公告显示，红隼煤矿位于昆士兰州鲍文盆地，是澳大利亚最大的在产井工煤矿之一。
