Pasqal Launches Quantum Computer in Saudi Arabia in Partnership With Aramco

Quantum computing provider Pasqal, which is planning to go public in an agreement with the blank check company Bleichroeder Acquisition Corp. II (BBCQ), launched the first quantum computer of Saudi Arabia in partnership with Aramco, the energy and chemicals company said Monday.

Aramco and Pasqal also inaugurated the first commercial quantum computing as a service platform in the Middle East to advance the development of quantum applications, Aramco said.

Under the deal, Aramco will advance use cases on a production-ready quantum processing unit as a foundational client, focusing on the development of quantum-hybrid services for its programs across energy, materials and industrial operations, it said.
