新浪科技讯 5月18日午间消息，5月17日，淘宝闪购举办首届城市骑士节。淘宝闪购CEO雷雁群致辞时表示，“城市骑士不只是一份简单的外卖跑腿工作，而是一份值得被看见、受认可、有发展的新职业。不仅需要当下的保障，更需要未来的希望。”
活动上，淘宝闪购宣布启动橙意计划2.0，进一步加大投入，全新升级骑士职业保障与成长发展体系。据了解， “橙意计划”由阿里巴巴和蚂蚁集团及旗下20多个品牌联合推出，围绕骑士保障激励发展，系列举措包括全面加强骑士保障，加码激励爱心善举、加码帮助困难骑士、加码支持骑士及子女就学等等。
数据显示，今年1-3月，阿里巴巴即时零售收入同比增长57%，淘宝闪购订单规模和市场份额显著提升，整体订单规模是去年同期的2.7倍，其中非餐零售部分是去年的3倍。在即时物流方面，淘宝闪购年度活跃骑士超1000万，新增就业机会超百万。
