快科技5月17日消息，微软Xbox部门新负责人Asha Sharma在社交媒体发起品牌名称投票，近2万名网友参与，其中64.8%赞成将"Xbox"改为全大写的"XBOX"。
这一看似微小的视觉调整，实际上折射出微软游戏业务在领导层更迭后的战略转向信号。
全大写XBOX并非凭空而来，2001年初代Xbox主机发布时使用的正是全大写命名，传递的信息很明确，Xbox正在试图重新与核心玩家群体建立情感连接。
这一系列变化的背景是微软游戏部门的权力交接，前Xbox负责人Phil Spencer离职后，接任的夏尔玛来自微软AI部门，在游戏领域几乎没有履历。
她的上任本身就标志着微软游戏业务进入了一个新阶段，在Spencer任内，Xbox从传统主机商业模式加速转向多平台策略，Xbox第一方游戏陆续登陆PS5和Nintendo Switch。
而Sharma上任后的种种迹象表明，这一全面多平台战略可能会被重新审视，转向更精细化的逐案评估模式。
不过，目前外界能观察到的仍以象征性动作为主，Sharma在内部表态中暗示将重新聚焦核心用户群体，具体的产品和战略调整尚未落地。
