V2X Wins Contract to Support Navy's Large Aircraft Infrared Countermeasures Program

V2X (VVX) said Monday that it has won a contract from the US Navy's Naval Air Systems Command to support its Large Aircraft Infrared Countermeasures program.

The defense contractor said the program is intended to protect military aircraft from infrared-guided missile threats.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Under the contract, V2X said it will install Large Aircraft Infrared Countermeasures systems on multiple US Marine Corps KC-130J planes at its facility in Crestview, Florida.

Shares of V2X were down 1.1% pre-bell.
