  5月18日,中国银行董事长葛海蛟在中国银行总行大厦会见友邦保险集团董事会主席杜嘉祺爵士,双方就国内外宏观经济形势交换意见,并围绕代理保险、托管、香港及东南亚地区合作等话题进行交流。中国银行副行长黄学玲、友邦保险集团首席执行官兼总裁李源祥参加会见。

  双方一致表示,将以此次会见为契机,依托各自境内外、多领域业务布局,持续拓宽合作维度,深化银保协同,携手打造国内深耕、亚太联动、互利共赢的银保合作新标杆。

  Ge Haijiao Meets with Sir Mark Tucker, Chairman of AIA Group

  On May 18, Ge Haijiao, Chairman of Bank of China Limited, met with Sir Mark Tucker, Chairman of AIA Group, at the Bank’s Head Office in Beijing. The two sides exchanged views on macroeconomic conditions in China and around the world, and discussed cooperation opportunities in bancassurance, asset custody, as well as in specific markets including Hong Kong and Southeast Asia. Huang Xueling, Executive Vice President of Bank of China Limited, and Lee Yuan Siong, AIA Group Chief Executive and President, also attended the meeting.

  Both parties agreed to work more closely and in a wider range of areas going forward, leveraging their respective strengths across different markets and business sectors. They aimed to build a new benchmark for bank-insurance partnership in China and across the broader Asia-Pacific region.
