Amazon-backed (AMZN) Anthropic has been tapped by KPMG to revamp how its global workforce will use artificial intelligence in a deal meant to make its tax and consulting services more efficient, the Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday, citing the company.

KPMG will integrate Anthropic's Claude into its day-to-day operations, the report said.

Both employees and clients will be able to use Claude to perform tasks, the report said.

"Our people and our clients are going to be working very differently because the way they work is going to be accelerated in terms of the sophistication and the use and the ways that they innovate," the WSJ cited Rema Serafi, KPMG's US vice chair of tax, as saying.

KPMG and Anthropic did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
