此次合作的核心内容的是承包一台专门用于地热活动的陆地钻井平台，实现优势互补、协同发力。其中，贝克休斯将发挥其在地下勘探、能源技术方面的专业优势，为地热井的规划与实施提供技术支撑；海尔默里奇 - 佩恩则负责提供可开展地热作业的陆地钻机，保障勘探开发的硬件落地。
两家企业表示，此次合作不仅将支撑美国近期的地热勘探活动，更将为未来规模化地热项目搭建可复制、可扩展的合作模式。通过整合贝克休斯在地下评估、油井建设及能源系统的丰富经验，以及海尔默里奇 - 佩恩的先进钻井能力，进一步提升地热勘探开发的效率与专业性。
据悉，此次合作涉及的陆地钻井平台，预计将于今年晚些时候正式部署，重点服务于美国核心地热产区的勘探工作，为美国清洁能源转型注入新动力。
