China Ruyi (HKG:0136) repurchased 6.4 million shares of its shares on the open market, according to a Monday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
The content producer's shares fell over 1% in morning trade Tuesday.
The shares were repurchased at HK$1.46 per share on average and represent 0.04% of the company's issued share capital.
Meanwhile, the company also repurchased HK$50 million of its zero coupon convertible bonds due 2027.
Following the repurchase, the firm has HK$2.52 billion of the convertible bonds outstanding.
