Brambles Stock Price Likely to Remain Under Pressure -- Market Talk
Dow Jones
May 19
0310 GMT - Uncertainty over how long it will take Brambles to resolve the service-center issues that forced it to downgrade its guidance is likely to keep weighing on the stock, Macquarie analysts warn. They tell clients in a note that they anticipate continued pressure on the pallet supplier's valuation even after the 20% share-price drop that followed the downgrade. The investment bank's analysts see earnings risks from the measures needed to resolve the issues, especially if full mitigation requires prices to be adjusted. Macquarie cuts its target price 20% to A$18.60 and stays neutral on the stock, which is up 1.7% at A$17.935. (stuart.condie@wsj.com)
