5月22日，据The Information引述消息人士称，聊天机器人ChatGPT开发商OpenAI，今年第一季录得经营收入57亿美元，比Anthropic多近10亿美元。OpenAI业绩增长主要得益于旗下编程工具Codex、企业服务销售，以及在ChatGPT上的广告测试收入。
尽管OpenAI在首季占据优势，但Anthropic近期在增长速度已超越竞争对手，年化收入接近450亿美元，远超OpenAI二月公布的250亿美元年化收入。Anthropic预计第二季经营收入将倍增至110亿美元，利润达到6亿美元。OpenAI则尚未公布第二季业绩预测。两家公司都在做准备，计划最早可能在今年第四季进行首次公开招股(IPO)，以筹集更多资金。
