ChainCatcher 消息，据浙江日报报道，近日，宁波海关缉私局经过深度经营与缜密侦查，成功打掉多个走私虚拟货币“矿机”的犯罪团伙，有力斩断一条非法产业链条。
此前，宁波海关在对一批申报品名为“工业用阻断器”的进境快件例行查验时，发现实际货物与申报不符，实际为虚拟货币“矿机”。海关关员迅速将此线索移交至缉私部门。接报后，宁波海关缉私局立即抽调精干力量成立专案组，通过数据分析和线索摸排，逐步厘清犯罪网络的组织架构和运作模式。在时机成熟之际果断出击，同步在广东东莞、深圳等地开展收网行动，成功捣毁多个走私矿机团伙。
经查证，该系列案件共查获非法入境的蚂蚁 L9、冰河 KS3 等品牌“矿机”400 余台。经审查查明，以廖某某为首的走私团伙为牟取非法暴利，通过境外供货商采购“矿机”，将整机拆解后伪报品名通过国际快件渠道从宁波、广州等地口岸走私进境。货物入境后，该团伙再将其重新组装，或直接在国内销售，或运往新疆、湖南等地的隐蔽“矿场”托管，从事非法的虚拟货币“挖矿”活动。同时利用 USDT 等虚拟货币跨境支付结算，借此规避资金监管。
