新浪科技讯 5月21日晚间消息，在YU7 GT小米人车家全生态新品发布会后，小米集团董事长、CEO雷军，小米集团副总裁、汽车部CTO胡峥楠，小米汽车部副总裁宋钢，小米汽车首席测试车手任周灿与媒体对话。

　　被问及为何小米汽车要执着于纽北刷圈，小米集团副总裁、汽车部CTO胡峥楠表示，去纽北不是为了证明什么，是方法而不是目标。刚开始提出去纽北，工程团队是反对的，因为内部没有经验，求稳为主。后来还是坚定的去做，雷总给了很多鼓励，说成绩不重要。

　　他提到，纽北是高性能车的试炼场，全世界几乎所有的高性能车都是从纽北跑出来的。小米汽车要进入全球市场，要被国际用户认可、同行尊重，纽北是必须要做的事。
