RCI Hospitality (RICK) said late Friday it received an expected letter from Nasdaq on Wednesday, notifying the company it was noncompliant with the listing rule requiring the timely filing of reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The company said it has not yet filed its Form 10-Q for the quarter ended March 31.
Under Nasdaq's rules, RCI has until July 20 to file its 10-Q or submit a plan to regain compliance.
If Nasdaq accepts it, it may grant an exception of up to 180 calendar days from the 10-Q's due date, or until November 16, according to the company.
If Nasdaq does not accept RCI's plan, the company can appeal that decision to a Nasdaq panel.
