0927 GMT - Although Smiths Group downgraded revenue guidance for fiscal 2026, the engineering company's margin outlook remains at slightly above 20%. This is helped by strong order books supporting confidence in medium-term growth, Citi analysts say in a note. Energy security and portfolio transformation also underpin the outlook, they say. Company-provided consensus for the year is for continuing organic growth at 2.9% and continuing Ebita margin at 20.1%. "While near-term revenue guidance has been adjusted due to external factors, profit expectations remain stable, underpinned by ongoing strategic initiatives and confidence in medium-term growth," Citi says. Shares are up 0.4% at 24.90 pounds and have risen 5.9% in the year to date. (anthony.orunagoriainoff@dowjones.com)
