Science Applications International Awarded $112.3 Million US Navy Contract Modification

Science Applications International (SAIC) received a $112.3 million modification to its existing US Navy contract for the production, spares, engineering support and hardware repair of components for the MK 48 Heavyweight Torpedo All Up Round, the US Department of Defense said Thursday.

Most of the work will be performed in Bedford, Indiana, with the remainder in Middletown, Rhode Island.

The project is expected to be completed by April 2029, according to the statement.
