消息面上，花旗发布报告称，对黄金短期走势保持谨慎，因为霍尔木兹海峡持续关闭以及能源价格高涨，导致投资者买盘减少，原因在于市场担忧避险情绪引发的抛售（这与黄金的历史先例一致）。花旗设定0至3个月的金价目标为每盎司4300美元，若发生重大的避险事件，金价可能远低于此水平。
