Heico's stock gained after the company posted record quarterly profit and sales results.

The stock was up 11% to $343 after the close on Wednesday. Shares ended the market session little changed, and are down 4.4% on the year.

For the second quarter ended April 30, Heico reported net income of $233.8 million, or $1.66 a share, up from $156.8 million and $1.12 cents a share in the same period a year ago.

Wall Street expected net income of $188 million, and earnings per share of $1.66, according to a survey of analysts by FactSet.

Sales rose to $1.38 billion, up from $1.1 billion a year earlier. That topped the $1.25 billion expected by analysts, according to FactSet.

Heico set a quarterly record for income and sales on a net basis, said Eric A. Mendelson and Victor H. Mendelson, the company's co-chairmen and co-chief executive officers. Those results were fueled by consolidated organic net sales growth and contributions from acquisitions made in fiscal years 2026 and 2025, they said.

Based in Florida, Heico is involved in the design, production and distribution of products and services to segments of the aviation, defense, space and medical industries.
