AMC Reports Attendance of More Than 5 Million Over Memorial Day Holiday Weekend

AMC Entertainment (AMC) said Tuesday it recorded attendance of over 5 million at AMC Theatres and ODEON Cinemas during the Memorial Day holiday weekend at its US and global locations.
At its US locations, AMC recorded its highest-attended Thursday-through-Monday period of 2026, AMC said.
The company cited box-office strength for the "Mandalorian and Grogu" and "Obsession" films.
"Mandalorian and Grogu" is the fifth film in the past two months to open to more than $75 million domestically, the company said. It added that according to media reports, Obsession earned over $30 million during the holiday weekend.
AMC shares were 1% higher in premarket trading.
