Realloys said initial commercial production for its exclusive heavy rare earth supply chain from the Saskatchewan Research Council's rare earth processing facility in Saskatoon, Canada, is on track for early 2027.

The company said it has committed $20.6 million for upgrades in the facility to help it increase commercial Neodymium-Praseodymium output by 25% and double Dysprosium and Terbium production.

In exchange for its investments, Realloys holds exclusive preferred supply rights to up to 80% of the expanded output.

Realloys also contracted SRC to design, build and commission a heavy rare earth metallization facility dedicated to the production of Dysprosium and Terbium metals. The equipment will be moved to Realloys' facility in Euclid, Ohio, "to better serve U.S. defense industrial base customers and to supply critical stockpile requirements of the Defense Logistics Agency," the company said.
