舍弗勒（SHA0n.DE）与美国卫星运营商Spire Global（SPIR.N）已签署谅解备忘录，将共同开发用于欧洲国防、气象及安全领域的航天硬件和卫星平台。
周三下午该交易消息公布后，这家德国机械及汽车零部件制造商的股价飙升15%，若涨幅得以维持，这将成为其有史以来表现最佳的交易日。
双方在联合声明中表示，计划在本十年结束前建立一个独立自主的欧洲航天硬件及任务业务。
舍弗勒首席执行官克劳斯·罗森菲尔德（Klaus Rosenfeld）告诉路透：“我们的目标是到2030年通过此次合作实现约2.5亿欧元的收入，”并补充说，该公司也愿意与业内其他公司合作。
双方表示，此次合作旨在加速舍弗勒进军航天领域，同时增强Spire在德国的市场影响力。
