InterContinental Hotels Adds New Vignette Collection Property in Portugal

InterContinental Hotels (IHG) signed Esperanca Hotel, Vignette Collection in Braga, expanding its Portugal Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio to six open and pipeline Vignette Collection properties, the company said Tuesday.

The company said the signing strengthens the growth of its Vignette Collection brand in Southern Europe, adding to its existing Portugal properties in Lisbon, Porto and Cascais.

The 58-room property will be developed through the conversion of two existing buildings in central Braga and is expected to open in September 2026, the company added.
