SATS's Recent Share Pullback Seems Overdone -- Market Talk

0139 GMT - SATS Ltd.'s recent share pullback appears overdone to DBS Group Research's Jason Sum, who believes the market is pricing in much weaker cargo and passenger numbers than the current data suggests. The Singapore air-cargo handler's FY 2026 results beat expectations, with a stronger 4Q despite Middle East conflict disruptions, the analyst says in a note. Global air-cargo volumes were rising before the conflict and any war-related weakness seems temporary, he says, as April volume is returning to growth. He remains upbeat on the air cargo sector given steady manufacturing activity and support from the artificial-intelligence capital-expenditure cycle. DBS retains its buy rating and 4.20 Singapore dollars target price. Shares are up 4.15% at S$3.51. (megan.cheah@wsj.com)
