SiteMinder's Mews Partnership Looks Long-Term to Bull -- Market Talk

Dow Jones

0027 GMT - SiteMinder's partnership with Mews strikes its bull at RBC as more of a long-term arrangement than a reversible trial. ASX-listed SiteMinder hasn't disclosed the economics of the deal, but analyst Wei-Weng Chen tells clients in a note that he understands that Mews will pay the Australian accommodation-software provider. Chen says privately held Mews has an incentive to sell SiteMinder products in a partnership that could increase SiteMinder's access to new customers. It is positive that Mews chose to partner with SiteMinder rather than develop its own channel manager, Chen adds. RBC has a last-published outperform rating and A$7.00 target price on the stock, which is up 9.9% at A$3.32. (stuart.condie@wsj.com)
