ChainCatcher 消息，据 FinanceFeeds 报道，澳大利亚证券和投资委员会（ASIC）发布警告，提示骗子正通过 WhatsApp 等消息应用及虚假加密货币交易平台诈骗散户投资者。骗子通常先在社交媒体上发布投资建议，吸引用户加入伪装成知名金融人士或交易社区的消息群组，再诱导其向虚假平台存款。这些平台通过伪造交易数据模拟盈利，用户尝试提现时则被索要额外“解锁费用”，所有资金均直接流入骗子账户。
此外，骗子还针对已遭受损失的投资者推销虚假“资金追回服务”实施二次诈骗。据 Moneysmart 调查数据，23% 的 18 至 28 岁澳大利亚人持有加密资产，72% 的 Z 世代曾在社交媒体上看到加密广告，41% 曾被直接劝诱投资加密货币，年轻群体风险敞口显著偏高。ASIC 提醒投资者避免轻信社交媒体投资建议，并建议通过 AUSTRAC 虚拟资产服务商登记册核实平台合规资质。
