0932 GMT - Ferrari's electric vehicle represents an enormous gamble to broaden its portfolio and capture buyers from an increasingly tech-centric wealth pool, with the reputation of an 80-year-old brand at stake, Berenberg analysts write in a note. The styling is a glaring departure from the Italian automaker's heritage, and while initial customer reactions to images of the car included some shock and harsh criticism, sentiment shifted after the car and especially its interior were seen in person. "Some customers may struggle to view the Luce as a true Ferrari, and the social media backlash will likely persist, but that may not matter for the investment case." Berenberg models 25 Luce shipments in the fourth quarter and 1,000 in 2027. Shares rise 1.2%. (dominic.chopping@wsj.com)
