遭罢免的英国石油前董事长Albert Manifold周四表示，他认为这家石油巨头内部并非所有人都认同其降本、精简业务组合、优化资产负债表的工作重心。

　　不过他称赞新任首席执行官、首席财务官以及其他高管品行正直、恪守原则。

　　英国石油近期再度爆发管理层人事动荡。Albert Manifold担任董事长仅八个月，便于本周二遭董事会解职，董事会称对其治理水准与行事作风存在严重疑虑。

　　四名知情人士透露，Albert Manifold在公司内部对待多位同事态度强硬，这也是他被罢免的原因之一。

　　Albert Manifold在一份声明中表示：“我一心推动成本管控、业绩提升、财务优化以及投资者沟通工作，行事风格强势、直言提出质疑，这点我并不否认。”

　　他补充道：“但我绝不接受他人对我恶意抹黑，也不认同有人匿名评判我在英国石油的任职表现。”

　　一名知情人士周三向路透社透露，遭解职后，Albert Manifold已聘请Mishcon de Reya律师事务所为其代理相关事务。

　　Albert Manifold的发言人周四拒绝就其是否计划向英国石油采取相关法律行动作出回应。
