日前，社交平台有消息称，美团产品岗将裁员50%。5月27日，九派新闻联系到美团工作人员，其回应称，这是不实消息。

在社交平台帖子中，有说法为裁员比例50%，预计人员优化时间为6月30日；也有说法为裁员比例25%，部门之间会有差异性，但不会达到50%，且不会一次性进行，而是阶段性人员优化，在年底前完成。本次裁员只针对产运研团队，销售岗位不受影响。
评论区网友表示，虽然不是该公司员工，但也担心自己会面临裁员风险；还有网友认为，裁员是大势所趋，后续各大厂预计都会陆续高比例裁员。
公开资料显示，目前美团2026年春招网申仍在进行中，招聘岗位包括技术类、产品类、产运类等，预计将于5月31日结束网申。此外，平台面向全球招募校园科技人才的“北斗计划”于5月21日启动，网申时间为即日起全年招聘，岗位包括大模型技术研究、自动驾驶技术研究、无人机技术研究等方面。
