Ferrari Targets Remain Intact Despite Cold EV Reception -- Market Talk

Dow Jones
May 27

1251 GMT - Ferrari investors' negative initial reception to the Luce electric vehicle doesn't compromise the company's five-year growth plan, Equita analyst Martino De Ambroggi writes. The automaker is targeting annual mid-single-digit percentage growth over the next five years, and Equita assumes that sales of 400 to 700 Luces a year will be sufficient to stay on target. "With this innovative product, apart from the volumes, it is important that the image of quality and performance of the brand is preserved." Ferrari shares fell over 8% yesterday but are 0.5% higher Wednesday. (dominic.chopping@wsj.com)
