Hub Group said two executives exited its C-suite after a review by its audit committee.

Following the departure of Kevin Beth, Todd Heeter has been appointed interim chief financial officer and treasurer for at least six months, the transportations and management solutions company said Thursday. Beth was also treasurer and executive vice president of the company before vacating the role.

Brian Meents also vacated his post as chief operating officer and executive vice president.

"In connection with the review conducted under the direction of the Audit Committee, we are taking corrective actions, including enhancing our financial reporting processes and making changes to the company's leadership team," said Peter McNitt, lead director of the audit committee, and Gary Yablon, audit committee chair. "We will continue to prioritize finalizing our financial statements and becoming current with the filing of our periodic reports with the SEC."

Heeter is the founder of the Heeter Group, which provides c-suite advisory services to public and private companies.

The company has begun a search for a permanent CFO with the help of a national search firm. The COO responsibilities will be taken on by other senior leaders, the company said.

Beth and Meents will be available to the company on a consulting basis for a transition period, Hub Group added.
