Stocks to Watch: Dell, Gap, American Eagle Outfitters, Nextpower

Dell Technologies raised its full-year outlook after sales climbed 88% in the first quarter. The stock jumped 38% to $436.56 in after-hours trading Thursday.

Gap cut its full-year sales outlook, citing a weaker-than-expected start to the year at its Old Navy brand. Shares shed 15% to $21.36 after the bell.

American Eagle Outfitters said its women's bottoms category didn't perform as well as expected in the first quarter. The stock fell 12% to $15.75 in late trade.

Nextpower agreed to acquire Prevalon Energy in a $365 million deal. Shares gained 7% to $146.60 after hours.
