日本贸易巨头三井物产社长堀健一表示，该公司正寻求投资中东、美国和澳大利亚的液化天然气（LNG）项目，以满足数据中心日益增长的电力需求。

　　堀健一接受采访时称，该公司将考虑收购LNG和天然气化工企业的股权或达成供应协议。堀健一表示，随着企业寻求清洁能源为人工智能基础设施供电，LNG需求正在蓬勃发展。

　　三井物产是日本五大商社之一，伯克希尔哈撒韦公司持有其10%的股份，其业务涵盖化石燃料生产和贸易、可再生能源以及食品等领域。

　　堀健一本月早些时候表示，三井物产希望“在保持谨慎的同时，抓住能源领域的上涨机遇”。

　　堀健一在最新采访中表示，三井物产已对阿布扎比国家石油公司位于鲁瓦伊斯的液化天然气出口设施持有股份，并将考虑在中东地区进行进一步投资。

　　去年，该公司与Venture Global签署了一项长期协议，每年供应100万吨液化天然气。

　　三井物产还与伍德赛德能源公司合作，参与澳大利亚西北大陆架项目，该项目是澳大利亚历史最悠久、规模第二大的液化天然气工厂。
