ChainCatcher 消息，据加密记者 Eleanor Terrett 披露，美国财政部长 Scott Bessent 今日重申，Trump 政府任内不会推出央行数字货币（CBDC）。不过，众议院已通过的《ROAD to Housing Act》仅包含对美联储发行 CBDC 的临时禁令，该禁令将于 2030 年 12 月到期，目前该法案尚未在参议院通过。
参议院共和党领袖 Thune 表示，推动永久禁令可能面临民主党阻力。部分众议院共和党人认为，禁令到期或将重新打开美联储探索 CBDC 的空间。Fed 主席 Kevin Warsh 则称，只要其有权阻止，就不会允许 Fed 推进 CBDC。
