Web Travel Positioning for Demand Recovery, Bull Says -- Market Talk
Dow Jones
May 29
0138 GMT - Web Travel's bull at Macquarie still thinks that the Australian travel booker's ongoing investment will put it in a good position for an eventual rebound in activity. Keeping an outperform rating on the stock, the investment bank says in a note that Web's investment in a challenging period should support its ability to expand margins as it scales over the medium term. For now, the analyst tells clients that the fiscal 2027 outlook remains weak due to uncertainty generated by conflict in the Middle East and currency headwinds. Macquarie trims its target price by 6.7% to 4.05 Australian dollars. Shares are up 5.3% at A$2.675. (stuart.condie@wsj.com)
