1223 ET - Canadian software names are among the biggest winners, extending a rally that began in the U.S. last week. Jerome Dubreuil of Desjardins tells the WSJ that the move reflects a broader reassessment of software valuations after Snowflake's upbeat results. "Great results and answer to the first questions on the Q&A showed they were not an AI loser at all," Dubreuil says, which led many investors to reassess the "software-as-a-service equals AI loser thesis." BlackBerry, Descartes Systems, Open Text, Constellation Software and Thomson Reuters were among the session's gainers. (adriano.marchese@wsj.com)
