ChainCatcher 消息，据 Decrypt 报道，美国财政部长贝森特在参议院财政委员会听证会上表示，财政部正以 “审慎且稳健的速度” 推进特朗普关于建立美国战略比特币储备的行政命令，并强调将采用 “最佳实践”，确保相关机制具备长期可持续性。
贝森特指出，战略比特币储备属于全新领域，实施过程较为复杂，因此政府正谨慎制定托管和管理框架。目前美国政府持有约 32.84 万枚比特币，价值约 206 亿美元，这些资产主要来自刑事和民事案件没收所得。
此外，贝森特呼吁国会推进数字资产市场结构法案 CLARITY Act，他认为该法案对于维护美国在数字资产创新领域的领先地位至关重要，该法案旨在明确数字资产监管框架，界定加密代币何时适用证券或商品监管规则，目前相关立法已进入参议院审议程序。
